The First Phase of the Flexi Path has ended.

The First Phase of the pilot of the Flexi Path Program has successfully ended. The Final Exams that is supposed to climaxed the end of the First Phase was postponed to next week’s Thursday and Friday. However, the Second Phase of the program will commence on schedule on Monday December 2, 2024. Students at all levels are expected to take two courses for 5 weeks. The courses expected to be run include: Entrepreneurship; Elements of Microeconomics; Business Mathematics; Public Sector Accounting I; Promotional Strategy; Human Resource Planning; partnerships and Company law; Labor Economics; Marketing Research; and Career Bridge Series. Following completion of course allocation, almost all lecturers have sent course outlines to the School and Students. We must commend our lecturers for great job in this regard.

Since the beginning of the Flexi Path Program, teaching culture introduced, which has improved quality of learning and academic rigor is the weekly Assignments. Although, the students complained about them, we intend to keep the system as part of the program with some minor changes to skew them towards practical projects. Another innovation we intend to keep is students assigned to read case studies prior to commencement of lectures. This has allowed lecturers to start their lectures with discussions of case studies. Everything else is expected to stay the same. So we are ready for tomorrow Insha Allah.
