M.I.S.T awards academic scholarships to 18 students

Today, the Madina Institute of Science and Technology as part of its commitment to providing quality and affordable education to the needy but brilliant communities in Ghana lunch and awarded 18 scholarships to its students.

As part of its commitment, the university is to provide 100 scholarships annually to its admitted students regardless of ethic group or geographical location.

In all 13 males and 5 females were awarded ranging between 50% and 100% scholarships covering the four year study period.

Dr. Rabiatu Armah was the guest of honor for the occasion.

In her address, she admonished the students to be serious with their studies and consider MIST their number one preferred university for their tertiary education.


The chairman of the Scholarship committee Dr. Mohammed-Sani Abdulai, encouraged the beneficiaries to maintain certain standards in study to give more confidence to others.

About 300 students attended the ceremony including students from the Sidiq SHS Agona Nyakro and the Suhum Islamic girls SHS.


According to the Marketing Office, Mr. Mohammed Nnabaale Iddrisu, the two SHSs in attendance were granted 10 scholarships each for their final year students.
