The Madina Institute of Science & Technology is in the process of rolling out a Bachelor of Arts in Arabic Education programme. As part of the recruitment drive, a one-day orientation programme was held on campus for Arabic and Islamic Studies Teachers under the leadership of the President of the University, Prof. Abdulai Salifu Asuro.
The National Coordinator of the Islamic Education Unit of the Ghana Education Service (GES) Dr. Ismail Saeed Adam was also present to throw light on the opportunities available to the participants.
The programme was well attended by 227 participants from all the 16 regions in Ghana. All the Regional and District coordinators of Islamic Education were also in attendance.
The programme was coordinated by the Marketing Officer, Mr. Mohammed Nnabaale Iddrisu. The discussions were led by the acting Dean of the English segment of the BA Arabic Education Dr. Haruna-Saeed Zagoon and supported by the coordinator of the Arabic segment Dr. Abdallah Musah Abdalla.
