Civil Engineering

To train high level man power in engineering principles, skills and professionalism to meet the demand for high level technical personnel in designing, construction and management of the “built environment” to drive the industrialization agenda and contribute to the socio-economic development of Ghana.

    • To train the student to understand and appreciate the physics and mechanics of the physical world and be able to employ the knowledge in the formulation and solution of engineering problems.
    • To train students to understand and appreciate the impact of various Civil Engineering on the quality of the environment.
    • To train students to be able to relate the conceptual aspect of Civil Engineering design to its creative aspect
    • To train high-level engineering professionals for the Ghanaian market.
