The Department of Arabic Language Education is affiliated to the Akenten Appiah-Menkah University of Skills and Entrepreneurial Development, (AAMUSED), Kumasi and offers a 4-year Bachelor of Arabic Language Education programme. The goal of this programme is to provide professional teacher education to the increasing number of persons who wish take up teaching careers as qualified teachers of Arabic Language and Literature at the Basic Schools and at the Senior High Schools where Arabic is now examinable at the WASSCE. Presently, most of the teachers who teach Arabic language at these levels have not received any formal training in pedagogy. The B.A. Arabic Language education programme provides a platform for the professional training of such teachers
The BSc. Computer Science programme has been designed to adequately prepare students to meet the challenges of the 21st Century workplace that demands creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving and effective communication skills, and the ability to work in teams and to collaborate with colleagues across the globe.
We produce graduates with competent technical and leadership skills for the world of work.
